Dear maths lovers, I have been missing a while from this blog, being involved in new interesting projects and events.
The Inspire Poetry Festival 2018 was back from Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 September. There were five days of full-on poetry immersion. This Festival is organised by Inspire, an independent charitable organisation, delivering great cultural services in Nottinghamshire, United Kindgdom.
Nottingham Poetry Society invited me to take part in one of the events, Translations with Maura Dooley and special guests at Beeston Library, Nottingham. I was happy and proud to be amongst other 7 poets and translators from UK, who brought in the event adaptations from Turkish, Portuguese, Irish, Chinese, Farsi, Spanish. I was reading 3 of my poems in Romanian and for each of them I added the translation in English. It was a great event, celebrating the international poetry.
Another great poetry event took place at the Stuff of Life Festival 2018, in Nottingham, on 8th of September. Stuff of life is an annual community festival based in Sherwood Rise. I was happy as well to be there amongst others poets and read some pieces of my work in English.
Because there is no such thing as Poetry!
Have a beautiful Thursday, wherever you are!
